Job Responsibilities
  • With minimal supervision, produce high-quality, concise and insightful market analysis & company analysis deliverables designed for key decision-makers. Develop and apply a detailed understanding of development processes. Critically analyze and interpret data (internal & External) and commercial information from a multitude of sources and have the ability to draw conclusions, be decisive and build market forecasts. On a periodic basis (weekly / monthly / quarterly) keep the key decision-makers informed of changes that would impact business performance.
  • Conduct primary research via interviews and surveys.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams and contribute to corporate initiatives.
  • Independently work across multiple business units toward product and process improvement
  • Put domain knowledge to use outside of product support through leadership activities
  • Work with technical teams, operations, sales, and finance to identify risks to business performance and make recommendations to mitigate
  • Generate and implement proposals for new products
  • Evaluate, learn and implement technological solutions with internal and external technology teams to improve knowledge sharing and operational processes
  • Determine the scope, schedule, and organization for assigned projects for self and others (e.g., junior staff, for cross-team or cross-functional unit initiative) with minimal oversight
  • Support broadly scoped projects aimed at creating operational efficiencies
  • Establish best practices/standard operating procedures, workflows, templates and documentation and ensure implementation across the team

    Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of and interest in contemporary biology, or drug discovery and development process
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.
  • Experience in modeling and forecasting
  • Technical aptitude – ability to quickly learn new technologies, ability to apply knowledge to recommend and implement process changes
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and with cross-functional teams to achieve results
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Strong organizational, project management and administrative skills
  • Must be flexible during times of change, creative, resourceful, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has a ‘can-do’ attitude; can effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
